#361 - Indonesian Idol s4

Well, I haven't written anything about Indonesian Idol this season yet, even this week is the top 6 week of it.

The main reason why I haven't written anything is that I don't have any interest on this season, because I think this season is the worst season ever. Which one is the best? Of course the first season. I didn't even watch the (only) 2 episodes of audition plus 1 episode of elimination round. At first I didn't know that the 3 stages workshop round was held only in 2 weeks and it was aired almost everyday at 10 PM. That's too late.

But the most affecting reason is that I don't think the contestants overall are as good as some previous' seasons. Only a few of them I think are pretty well, they are Rini, Fandy, and Gaby (in mellow songs). Many people say Wilson is good, but I just don't like him. I dunno why but probably that's because the stereotype the judges put on him during the workshop round, that he's cocky. Sarah used to be pretty good but here on, she was overrated. Some judges praised Dimas a lot but I think he's not that good. On one performance, I think he did okay (let's score 6), but the feedbacks he got was just as if he got the score of 9.5 out of 10. What!?!?!?

However, there is still at least one positive thing this season. Steve and Risma got eliminated. They couldn't sing but they are good-looking, and they got voted-off. That's the best thing!! Not like last year where so many talented people in the top 12, but all of them got voted-off (Depe, Sisi, Christy, Maria, Nobo, Gea) because many people loved to vote for Dirly (who couldn't sing but good-looking) and Ihsan (who sang standart but his background was 'salable'). Actually season 3 was better than season 2 in the talent and composition of the top 12, but the order of elimination on season 3 was such a mess.

For now, I hope the final order will be: 1. Rini (winner); 2. Fandy (runner-up); 3. Gaby; 4. Wilson; 5. Sarah; 6. Dimas.

Anyway, here on, Indonesian Idol became more and more similar with AFI. On season 1, they didn't care about the coreography. The most important was their singing talent, and the talents the judges found were stunning. On season 2, still the main focus wasn't on the coreography, but there was more coreography than the first season. On the third season, the coreographer was Ari Tulang who used to work with AFI, and of course, the coreography became clearly one important factor on the show. On season 4, the coreography is as much as season 3, and now most of the contestants are young (teenagers) and become more aware of their appearance (hair-coloring, etc). That's good, but I dunno why but all of them for me made the classy impression of Indonesian Idol which I found on season 1 diseappeared. Hmmmm....

Btw, exactly one year ago, I officially passed high-school, he3... :) The entry I wrote at that time was number 161, now this entry is number 361, so in one year time, I have written 200 entries, hmmm... :D

Hmmm, aku blom nulis apa-pun nih tentang Indonesian Idol musim ini, walaupun sebenere minggu ini adalah minggu 6 besar-nya loh.

Alasan utama kenapa aku blon nulis apa-apa ya karena aku nggak tertarik sama musim ini, soale menurutku musim ini adalah musim terjelek yang pernah ada. Yang mana yang terbaik? Ya jelas musim pertama dong. Aku bahkan nggak nonton (yang cuma) 2 episode babak audisi dan 1 episode babak eliminasi loh .Pertamanya juga aku nggak tau kalo workshop 3 babak-nya diadain cuma dalam waktu 2 minggu dan ditayanginnya jam 10 malem. Kemaleman tuh.

Tapi yang paling berpengaruh adalah aku nggak merasa secara keseluruhan kontestan sebagis musim2 sebelumnya deh. Cuma beberapa aja yang menurutku lumayan, mereka adalah Rini, Fandy, dan Gaby (di lagu-lagu mellow). Banyak orang bilang Wilson bagus, tapi aku nggak suka tu. Gatau kenapa tapi mungkin karena stereotip yang diberikan juri kepadanya di babak workshop bahwa dia itu congkak. Sarah dulu lumayan juga tapi makin kesini nggak deh. Beberapa juri memuji Dimas banget tapi aku rasa dia ga sebagus itu. Di satu penampilan, dia oke-lah (kasi nilai 6), eh jurinya muji dia banget kaya kalo dia dapet nilai 9,5 dari 10. Apa!?!?!?

Bagaimanapun, paling nggak masih ada 1 hal positif dari musim ini. Steve dan Risma tereliminasi. Mereka nggak bisa nyanyi tapi mereka cakep, dan mereka tereliminasi. Itulah yang bagus!! Nggak kaya taun lalu dimana ada banyak orang yang bagus di 12 besar tapi semuanya tereliminasi (Depe, Sisi, Christy, Maria, Nobo, Gea) soale banyak orang lebih suka untuk voting buat Dirly (gabisa nyanyi tapi cakep) sama Ihsan (yang nyanyinya standar tapi latar belakangnya 'menjual'). Sebenere musim ketiga lebih bagus dari musim kedua dalam hal kebagusan dan komposisi 12 besar-nya, tapi urutan eliminasi musim ke-3 parah banget.

Untuk skarang aku harap sih urutannya bakalan menjadi: 1. Rini (pemenang); 2. Fandy (runner-up); 3. Gaby; 4. Wilson; 5. Sarah; 6. Dimas.

Btw, makin kesini, Indonesian Idol koq jadi mirip sama AFI yah. Di musim 1, mereka nggak begitu ngurus koreografi. Yang paling penting ya bernyanyinya, dan bakat yang ditemukan juri bener-bener memukau. Di musim 2, fokus utamanya masih bukan di koreografi, tapi koreografinya lebih banyak dari musim satu. Di musim tiga, koreografernya adalah Ari Tulang yang dulu kerja buat AFI, dan tentu saja, koreografi jadi salah satu faktor penting dari pertunjukan. Di musim keempat, koreografinya udah se-intense musim 3, ditambah lagi kebanyakan kontestan masih muda (remaja) dan lebih diperhatikan pada penampilan (ngecet rambut, dll). Bagus sih, tapi gatau kenapa koq semua itu membuat aku merasa kalo Indonesian Idol kehilangan kelas-nya, ga kaya impresi berkelas yang aku dapet di musim 1 yah. Hmmmm....

Btw, tepat setahun yg lalu, aku secara resmi lulus SMA loh, he3... :) Posting yang aku tulis waktu itu nomer 161, dan posting yang ini nomer 361, berarti dalam waktu setahun, aku udah nulis 200 posting tuh, hmmm... :D
