#585 - Racers Revealed

Note: this entry will only be written in English... :D



Well, finally last Thursday the pre-episode of The Amazing Race Asia 3, The Racers Revealed, was aired. Yeah, TARA is my most fave TV program and it's ON!! Wooohh!!! Okay, this is my review about the teams after they had been revealed:

1. Ida & Tania (Heiress & Actress, Malaysia)

Well, hmmmm, I think they are standards. Really stereotypical. They're famous and rich, and kinda uptown girls. Hmmm, we will see whether or not they can last long on the race. They really are like Shana & Jennifer of TAR 12. Sad to say, they didn't get my attention for now... :(

2. Sam & Vince (best buddies, Hong Kong)

I think this team is quite interesting. Above average. Nothing much to tell...

3. Natalie & Pailin (Beauty Queens, Thailand)

Who doesn't know Natalie Glebova, the Miss Universe 2005? Well, I was attracted with this team at first and now I still like them. However, one thing I hate the most is when Pricila Y (the castings director) said like: "Sold, on the first 10 seconds ... ". WTF!! I hate it because it means that it's their statuses (BQs) which PUT THEM ON the show!! Hmmm!!! After all the mactors issue now we have this statement? Kinda heartbreaking... :( They need to prove themselves (and I'm NOT BLAMING Natalie & Pailin since it's not their fault, haha, but still they gotta prove themselves, rite? )

4. A.D & Fuzzie (Friends for 15 Years, Singapore)

Well, the only ordinary people team on the race. I think they're so unique and interesting to watch. A.D has an OCD while Fuzzie is quite the opposite. Fuzzie referred herself as the beach whale, LOL.

5. Henry & Bernie (Brother & Sister, Malaysia)

Another interesting team. I think their bond is strong and they represent the close brother-sister relationship, hehehe... ;) I think they're strong

6. Neena & Amit (cousins, India)

Well, this cousins relationship also seems to be interesting. We will see. Also nothing much to say

7. William & Isaac (Brothers, South Korea)

I REALLLLYYY LIKE THIS TEAM!! For now, they're my most favorite team!! hahaha... :) I really love the strong brothers relation, hehe... :) I hope they did well and went far on the race

8. Niroo & Kapil (Father & Son, India)

Hmmm, sad to say, for me they're the least interesting team, hmmmm.... . It might change though

9.Geoff & Tisha (Dating, Philippines)

Wow, the only dating couple on the race, hahaha... :) This team is also interesting and I think they are strong!! :) I like this team too.

10. Mai & Oliver (Friends, Thailand)

Another interesting team!! :) I think they are also strong and I also like this team. Anyway, Mai's nickname is Visa, LOL. I think it's gonnabe cool if Oliver's name was Mastercard or Amex, LOLz. j/k

#584 - Finally!!!

Yeah!! Finally after all those struggles, the 23 credits problem is now finally SOLVED!! Yeaahh!! I get what I want, 23 credits for this semester!! huahahahaha.... . Now I'm really glad. I really gotta fight for it, hmmmm... . I gotta negotiate, anticipate the worst thing, solve some problems, etc. About the problems connected to this, they were really frustrating. One problem was solved (scheduling problem), another one was raised (examination scheduling problem), dang. But anyway, the bottomline is that now it's all fine, hahaha

Anyway, this semester I take a Japanese Language Class. I dunno, I know nothing about Japanese Language and we will see, hopefully I can do well, LOL.

Anyway, I'm also excited because tomorrow The Amazing Race Asia 3 is gonna air it's pre-race episode: The Racers Revealed. Hmmm... . Up till now I can only read the teams' profiles and watch mini-clip ad about them on TV, but it's not enough for me, hahaha.... . Yeaah!!

BAHASA INDONESIA

Yeah!! Akhirnya setelah semua perjuangan itu, masalah 23 sks akhirnya TERPECAHKAN juga!! Yeaahh!! Aku mendapatkan apa yang aku mau, 23 sks untuk semester ini!! huahahahaha.... . Sekarang udah lega banget nih. Aku bener2 harus memperjuangkannya loh untuk mendapatkannya, hmmmm... . Aku sampe harus nego, mengantisipasi hal yg terburuk, dan tentu saja memecahkan permasalahan2 yang ada, dll. Tentang masalah yang berhubungan dengan ini, bener2 bikin stress dan frustasi aja tuh. Satu masalah selesai (masalah jadwal beres) eh masalah lainnya muncul (masalah jadwal ujian), siyal. Udah ah, yang penting sekarang semuanya sudah baik2 saja, hahaha

Ngomong2, semester ini aku ngambil matkul Bahasa Jepang loh. Gatau sih soalnya aku kan gabisa Bahasa Jepang sama sekali. Kita lihat saja deh, semoga aku bisa, LOL.

Ngomong2, seneng bgt neh soale besok The Amazing Race Asia 3 akan mulai menayangkan episode pre-race nya: The Racers Revealed (Racers Terungkap!). Hmmm... . Sampe sekarang kan aku harus membaca profil dari masing2 tim dan tayangan singkat tentang mereka di TV tuh, nah nggak cukup lah jelas buat aku, hahaha.... . Yeaah!!

#583 - Weekend

Well, last weekend was my first (in 3 weeks) weekend where I could relax, hahaha... . Anyway, last Saturday the water didn't run in my boarding house for all day long!! Dang PAM (The National Watering Company)!! Well, that incident taught me how dependence we are to water, LOL.

Btw, reading the news lately, I know we gotta be fast to get tickets for homecoming this Lebaran. So, to avoid not getting ticket, that's what I did yesterday, haha... . I went to Bandung Railway Station to buy ticket to go back home to Yogyakarta by the end of this month. Guess what? All tickets of Argo Wilis from 26th September until 29th September had been sold out!! hahaha... :( O yea, I only want to catch Argo Wilis, learning from this experience with Lodaya, I dun wanna catch Lodaya anymore. So I bought the 25th September ticket. Plus, the price really flied high. The normal Argo Wilis ticket is Rp 155,000.oo and this time, the price is Rp 350,000.oo which means there's a 130% increase!! DANG!! Well, because we can only buy tickets from D-30, so next Thursday I gotta go to Bandung Railway Station again to buy ticket to get back to Bandung, haha...

Anyway, today is September the first, and all Moslems start fasting today, so Happy Fasting!! :)

Hmm, wiken kemarin adalah wiken pertama saya (dalam 3 minggu) dimana aku bisa agak bersantai, hahaha... . Ngomong2, Sabtu kemarin masa air di kos an kaga nyala seharian!! PAM Sialan!! Hmm, tapi insiden itu mengajarkan saya betapa bergantungnya kita kepada air sih, LOL.

Btw, membaca berita akhir2 ini, aku tahu kalo kita harus cepat-cepat untuk mendapatkan tiket kereta untuk Lebaran kali ini. Jadi, untuk menghindari gak kebagian tiket, itulah yang aku lakukan kemarin, haha... . Aku pergi ke Stasiun Kereta Api Bandung untuk beli tiket unutk balik ke Yogyakarta akhir bulan ini. Dan bagaimana? Masa tiket Argo Wilis dari tanggal 26 September sampe 29 September udah habis dijual!! hahaha... :( O iya, aku cuma mau naik Argo Wilis aja ah, belajar dari pengalaman ini kan dengan Lodaya, aku jadi gamau naik Lodaya lagi. Jadi, aku beli tiket yang tanggal 25 September. Plus, harganya naik banyak banget! Harga normal Argo Wilis adalah Rp 155.000,oo dan sekarang harganya Rp 350.000,oo yang berarti ada kenaikan sebesar 130%!! SIAL!! Hmmm, karena kita bisa beli tiket dari H-30 makanya besok Kamis aku mesti ke Stasiun Bandung lagi untuk beli tiket buat balik ke Bandungnya, haha...

Ngomong2, hari ini adalah tanggal 1 September dan semua Umat Muslim mulai berpuasa, jadi Selamat Berpuasa!! :)

#582 - Recent Problems

Well, recently, problems have been around me, dang, haha... :( Beside the 23 credits problem which really frustrates me (because probably it's the biggest problem this month), there are some other problems I gotta handle. Well, probably the burden is not a hard as I had last April tho, but still, they can potentially frustrate me, haha... . Anyway, finally I see a little shimmering light on the 23 credits problem, hopefully it's a good sign

One recent problem was written on my private blog last week, some other problems also occurred. Some of them probably will be written also on my private blog, haha... ;) Yesterday, another relatively minor problem occurred. Dang. When I was about to accompany my friends (of course I was about to drive my car), I just realized that I got a flat-tire!! DANG!!! Why, Why??? Grrrr.... . Oyea, the last time I got a flat-tire was this time, almost 1.5 years ago.

That's fine tho. At least, handling all of these problems, hopefully I will get used to them and I won't be shocked when I enter the "Real" World later!! haha... . Because seriously, some people try to avoid problems (and causing other (unnecessary) problems to rise and other people gotta do extra works to solve those problems) which truly is not the best way to handle them since we won't learn anything by doing that. The best way is (I think, CMIIW) to face and solve them!! hahaha... :)

Hmm, akhir2 ini, masalah2 koq selalu muncul sih, haha... :( Selain masalah 23 sks yang bener2 bikin pusing dan frustasi itu (soalnya sepertinya masalah ini adalah masalah terbesar bulan ini deh), ada beberapa masalah lain yang harus aku urus. Hmm, mungkin bebannya nggak seberat beban yang harus aku panggul April kemarin sih, tapi tetep aja kan bikin stress, haha... . Ngomong2, akhirnya aku melihat secercah cahaya kecil dalam masalah 23 sks, semoga ini merupakan pertanda baik.

Satu masalah sudah pernah aku tulis di blog private minggu lalu, beberapa masalah lain juga muncul. Beberapa di antaranya mungkin akan aku tulis di blog private juga, haha... ;) Kemarin, satu masalah yang relatif kecil juga muncul. Sial. Waktu mau nganter temen (tentu aja kan aku mesti naik mobil), eh aku baru nyadar kalo ban mobil saya bocor!! SIAL!!! Kenapa, kenapa??? Grrrr.... . Oya, terakhir ban mobilku bocor tu adalah waktu ini, hampir 1,5 tahun yg lalu.

Hmm, gapapa sih. Paling nggak, dengan mengurus semua masalah2 ini, moga2 aku jadi terbiasa dengan tekanan2 itu dan nggak akan terkejut banget waktu memasuki Dunia "Nyata" nanti!! haha... . Soalnya, serius nih, banyak kan orang yang memilih untuk menghindari masalah (dan malah membuat masalah (nggak perlu) lainnya untuk muncul dan orang lain jadi harus bekerja ekstra untuk menyelesaikannya) yang tentu bukan cara terbaik untuk berhadapan dengannya. Cara terbaik (menurutku, CMIIW) ya dengan menghadapinya dan berusaha mengatasinya!! hahaha... :)

Well, now the 23 credits problem shows a little 'light of hope'. Still, it's still a bit far away from being 'solved', hmmm... . One problem is solved then another new problem followed! Dang!! Hopefully this week I really can solve this one!! hahaha... ;) Fire!!!

Anyway, I have nothing to write actually, haha... . Because of her, yesterday I wanted to eat soto, LOL. So I had breakfast at Soto Semarang yesterday morning, hahaha... .

Anyway, this week has been tough for aviation. Several aviation accidents happened!! Hmmm, it started with SpanAir's MD82 accident just after taking off from Barajas Airport, Spain; then ItekAir's Boeing 737-200 accident in Kyrgisthan; then Philippines Air Force's Hercules C-140 in Mindanao, then Sun-Air's Boeing 737-200 highjacking; then the last one was in Indonesia: Sriwijaya Air's Boeing 737-2H6/Adv reg code PK-CJG overrunning the runway in Sultan Thaha Airport, Jambi. Whatta week!! Hmmmm...

Hmm, sekarang masalah 23 sks-nya menunjukkan 'secercah harapan'. Walau begitu, masih jauh nih dari bisa dikatakan masalah teratasi, hmmm... . Satu masalah beres eh koq malah muncul masalah lain! Sial!! Semoga benar2 bisa terselesaikan minggu ini deh!! hahaha... ;) Semangat!!!

Ngomong2, gak ada bahan untuk ditulis nih sebenarnya, haha... . Namun gara2 dia, kemarin aku jadi pingin soto kan, LOL. Makanya kemarin pagi makan Soto Semarang deh, hahaha... .

Ngomong2, minggu ini beneran berat deh untuk industri penerbangan. Beberapa kecelakaan penerbangan terjadi!! Hmmm, dimulai dengan kecelakaan MD82 maskapai SpanAir setelah lepas landas di Bandara Barajas, Spanyol; kemudian kecelakaan Boeing 737-200 Itek Air di Kirgistan; kemudian kecelakan Hercules C-130 Angkatan Udara Filipina di Mindanao; lalu pembajakan pesawat Boeing 737-200 Sun Air; kemudian yang terakhir di Indonesia: pesawat Boeing 737-2H6/Adv-nya Sriwijaya Air kode registrasi PJ-CJG yang overrunning landasan pacu Bandara Sultan Thaha, Jambi. Gila banget dah!! Hmmmm...

#580 - Tiring Tuesday

Well, today has really been tiring. My lecture started at 7 AM and finished at 5 PM, dang it. My first lecture was Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian Language). On the first meeting this morning, there was a quiz! Dang!! Lucky I wasn't absent this morning, LOL. Well, the score wasn't used, but still twas surprising, haha. Well, the subject was just like one we got on high-school, haha...

Then, at 10 AM I got my second class which was Aesthetics. We gotta watch a movie with no dialog and no for 1.5 hours and gotta define what Aesthetics is based on that. Wtf. I was tired and sleepy and caused I got a bit bored (eventho I still managed to watch the movie and did the assignment, haha... :D).

Anyway, the 23 credits problem is still remained unsolved, dang. Now, it even gets more complicated and this thing kinda frustrates me right now, grrr... . Even so, I still have a hope that I can get it my way (hopefully, haha...)

Hmmm, hari ini benar2 melelahkan sekali deh. Kuliah ku tadi dimulai jam 7 pagi dan baru selesai jam 5 sore, sial. Kuliah pertamaku adalah Bahasa Indonesia. Masa di pertemuan pertama pagi tadi udah ada kuis seh! Sial!! Untung kaga bolos tadi, LOL. Hmm, walau nilainya memang gak dimasukkan tapi kan tetap aja mengagetkan, haha. Mata Kuliahnya ya gitu deh, seperti di SMA, haha...

Trus jam 10 pagi tadi aku ada kuliah Estetika. Masa kita harus nonton sebuah film tanpa dialog dan tanpa jalan cerita (bujug dah) selama 1,5 jam dan kita harus mendefinisikan apa itu Estetika berdasarkan film. Wtf. Aku capek bgt tadi dan rada ngantuk makanya jelas merasa bosan (walau aku masih bisa tetap nonton film-nya dan mengerjakan tugas, haha... :D).

Ngomong2, masalah 23 sks-nya masih belum beres nih, siyal. Malah, sekarang jadi bertambah rumit deh dan jadi agak membuat frustasi juga, grrr... . Walau begitu aku masih berharap semoga bisa dapat apa yang aku mau (moga2 beneran, haha...)

Now I'm so exhausted. Today was the last day of my Department Orientation Week and I also gotta supervise it, hahaha... . I'm really glad that all programs went smoothly, eventhough one incident (one ospekee (LOL) faked one lecturer's signature, hmmm) caused one program went a bit late, haha... . But overall it went smoothly and the closing program went just as we hoped to, hahaha... .

Anyway, I think this week my 23 credits problem should have been solved, hmmm... . Hopefully I get it my way, haha...

Arrrgghh, now I'm very exhausted. Plus, tomorrow I still gotta submit a homework, dang

Sekarang lagi capek banget neh. Hari ini adalah hari terakhir dari Ospek Jurusan ku dan tentu saja dong aku ikut mengawasinya, hahaha... . Aku seneng bgt semua program berjalan dengan baik, walau satu insiden (satu yg diospek memalsukan tanda tangan salah satu dosen, hmmm) membuat sebuah acara jadi ngaret, haha... . Namun secara keseluruhan acaranya berjalan dengan lancar dan acara penutupannya berjalan sesuai dengan keinginan kita, hahaha... .

Ngomong2, aku rasa minggu ini permasalahan 23 sks-ku seharusnya terpecahkan nih, hmmm... . Semoga berjalan sesuai dengan harapanku sih, haha...
