#174 - DIGITAL FORTRESS

As I wrote at this message, I bought a new novel by Dan Brown to read, DIGITAL FORTRESS. Why did I purchase this book?? Well, the answer is simple, because I have already read the two other Dan Brown's novels (The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demon) and I like both of them, beside, they (the bookstore) also put the books on "Popular Books" table... :)

Digital Fortress, just like its name, has something to do with the computer (and also internet). Digital Fortress is the name of a very complicated allogaritm / code which can't be extracted even by the most sophisticated translator machine in the world (they called: TRANSLTR in the novel). The creator of this code, Ensei Tankado, was a pacifist and wanted NSA (National Security Agency), which owned TRANSLTR, to announce to the world that they owned it, he wanted privacy of each person in the world was kept (with TRANSLTR, NSA could open every e-mails, or messages, or anything even if the messages were written in code). Of course he knew how to extract Digital Fortress (because he was the creator). Unfortunately, Ensei Tankado, the creator of that allogaritm, DIED!!!

To read the complete story, just read the novel... :) I think it's pretty interesting, thrilling and very different with DaVinci Code and Angels and Demon. It's not mainly about religion and Church anymore, the main characters are also different, not about Robert Langdon (and Sophie Neveu or Vittoria) again. Dan Brown also put more drama in this novel, a lot more than he put in DVC and AnD. However, there were some things in this novel which are also similar with the previous novels. There was a murderer which was hired by the bad guy in this novel (similar with Silas at DVC and Hassasin at AnD), and all part of the story happened only at one night... :) There was also code to break, etc. Btw, in the middle of the story, I guessed who the bad guy was, and my guess was right!! Yaaay!!! And about the code (Prime Difference between elements responsible for Hiroshima and Nagasaki), I could also break it, he3... :D Btw, I'm waiting to read Dan Brown's next novel (The Deception Point) >> I saw the English version of it when I was in Bali actually... :D

Seperti yang sudah aku tulis di postingan ini, aku membeli sebuah novel baru karangan Dan Brown untuk dibac yang judulnya, DIGITAL FORTRESS (Benteng Digital). Kenapa aku membeli buku ini?? Hmm, jawabannya sih sederhana aja, soalnya aku sudah membaca 2 buku karangan Dan Brown yang lainnya (The DaVinci Code dan Angels and Demon) dan aku suka keduanya, di samping, mereka (toko bukunya) juga menaruh buku-bukunya di meja "Buku Laris"... :)

Benteng Digital, sama seperti namanya, berhubungan banget dengan komputer (dan juga internet). Benteng Digital adalah nama dari sebuah alogaritma/kode yang sangat rumit yang bahkan tidak bisa dipecahkan bahkan oleh mesin penerjemah tercanggih di dunia (disebut TRANSLTR dalam novel). Pembuat dari kode ini, Ensei Tankado, adalah seorang pecinta damai dan menginginkan NSA (National Security Agency / Agen Keamanan Nasional), yang memiliki TRANSLTR untuk mengumumkan ke dunia kalo mereka memilikinya, dia menginginkan privasi dari setiap orang dijaga (karena dengan TRANSLTR, NSA bisa membaca setiap e-mail, atau pesan, atau apapun bahkan juga pesannya ditulis dalam bentuk kode). Tentu saja dia tahu bagaimana untuk menggugurkan Benteng Digital (soalnya dia kan pembuatnya). Malangnya, Ensei Tankado, pembuat alogaritma itu, MENINGGAL!!!

Untuk membaca cerita selengkapnya, baca aja deh novelnya... :) Menurutku sih lumayan menarik, menegangkan, dan sangat berbeda dari DaVinci Code dan Angels and Demon. Ini nggak sepenuhnya tentang agama dan Gereja lagi, karakter-karakter utamanya juga berbeda, bukan tentang Robert Langdon (dan Sophie Neveu atau Vittoria) lagi. Dan Brown juga menambah lebih banyak drama di dalam novel ini, jauh lebih banyak dari yang dia masukkan dalam DVC dan AnD. Bagaimanapun juga, ada beberapa bagian di novel ini yang mirip dengan novel-novel sebelumnya. Ada seorang pembunuh yang disewa oleh penjahatnya (mirip sama Silas di DVC dan Hassasin di AnD), dan semua bagian dari cerita ini terjadi hanya pada satu malam... :) Ada juga kode untuk dipecahkan, dsb. Ngomong-ngomong, di bagian tengah ceritanya, aku menebak siapa penjahatnya, dan tebakanku bener!! Yeeess!!! Dan tentang kodenya (Prime Difference between elements responsible for Hiroshima and Nagasaki) > Aku nggak tulis dlm Bahasa karena memang harus dalam Bahasa Inggris >> aku juga bisa memecahkan kodenya, he3... :D Btw, aku menunggu novel Dan Brown yang selanjutnya (The Deception Point) >> aku sudah melihat yang edisi Bahasa Inggrisnya sih waktu aku lagi di Bali... :D

About 1 month ago I posted this message, when the once in 4 years event, The World Cup, started. Many matches have been played, and some results were probably pretty shocking surprising. Finally, yesterday we came to the end of this 1 month event, the grandfinal where we watched Italy played against France. For this match, me personally, supported Italy.... :) And finally, after a 90 minutes heart-beating match, the result was tight, 1 - 1. The 30 minutes additional time didn't change anything (except when Zidane got kicked off from the field since he was pretty immature, I think, by attacking one Italian player...). In the end, ITALY wins by the penalty kicks, 5 - 3...

Sekitar sebulan yang lalu aku mengepos message ini, ketika even satu kali dalam 4 tahun, Piala Dunia, dimulai. Banyak pertandingan yang sudah dimainkan, dan beberapa hasilnya mungkin bikin shock mengejutkan. Akhirnya, kemarin kita sampai di akhir dari even satu bulan ini, grandfinal dimana kita menonton Italia bermain melawan Prancis. Untuk pertandingan ini, aku pribadi sih, mendukung Italia.... :) Dan akhirnya, setelah bermain selama 90 menit yang menegangkan, hasilnya seri, 1 - 1. Tambahan waktu selama 30 menit nggak merubah apapun (kecuali Zidane yang ditendang keluar dari lapangan karena dia nggak dewasa, menurutku, dengan menyerang salah satu pemain Italia...). Akhirnya, Italia menang melalui tendangan penalti, 5 - 3.........

Circa 1 mese fa ho inviato questo messaggio, quando una volta durante 4 anni di evento, la tazza del mondo, avviata. Molti fiammiferi sono stati giocati ed alcuni risultati erano probabilmente sorpresa scioccanta graziosa. Per concludere, ieri abbiamo arrivato alla fine di questo evento di 1 mese, il grandfinal dove abbiamo guardato l'Italia giocata contro la Francia. Per questo fiammifero, me personalmente, l'Italia sostenuta....:) E per concludere, dopo 90 minuti chebattono il fiammifero, il risultato era stretto, 1 - 1. Il tempo supplementare di 30 minuti non ha cambiato nulla (a meno che quando Zidane ha ottenuto dato dei calci a fuori dal campo poiché era abbastanza acerbo, pensassi, attacando un giocatore italiano...). Alla fine, l'ITALIA vince dalle scosse di pena, 5 - 3...

#172 - An exhausting Day

This morning, I slept at 4 AM. Why did I start to sleep at that time?? Well, that was because the novel: DIGITAL FORTRESS which I bought 2 days ago, the story is so thrilling and didn't let me stop reading it. When I read it, it made me really want to read the next, the next, and the next. Finally, my eyes could stop that "temptation" at 4 AM in the morning....

I got up at 9.30 AM and didn't feel so fresh and powerful, I was still sleepy but couldn't sleep anymore.... (do you know how it feels?? :( ). So, I decided to surf the net and after that play my old PC Game (Sim City 4 RushHour). In the middle of playing that game, my dad came to my room and gave me many some articles about IT before hunting and purchasing my new laptop. After I finished reading all of them, actually we planned to go to JEC, but then my dad wanted my brother to go with us too, and he was still collecting some stuffs to his High-School so we had to wait for several minutes.

At 2 PM, after having lunch, we departed to JEC. There, we first went to Acer's stand because we read its ad in the newspaper which said: "If you buy Acer's products at the exhibition (at Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya) between 5th to 9th July, you would get discount up to 30%". But that 30% discount was not for all products, just for some of them... :( (AGAIN, word trick here in this case). Then, we moved to hp's counter and looked at some laptops. After that, we went around to look at almost all stands which took 3 hours (Arrgghh, that's so exhausting). Finally, I had my 2 final choices which probably I would want to purchase. From that two, one is Acer's and the other one is hp's (Arrgghhh...., so actually we just needed our first 45 minutes to come up with those final two... :( ). After that, we went outside the exhibiton room and took a seat outside there near the food court. After thinking about it, I decided to purchase hp one, it's more expensive about Rp. 1,500,000.oo than Acer's but for long term probably it will be more useful, beside I like its model (color) more than Acer's, lol. Now I still haven't purchased it yet, tomorrow we will call the dealer first, who know we will get it at lower price, he3... :D

PS: yesterday morning when I took the copies of my STK and STTB, I also got my memorial CD (one feature of the Memorial Book). Unfortunately, I couldn't play it on my computer, I don't know why. I still also doesn't have a ny chance to play it downstair on my main TV.... :(

Talking about the top 7 show Indonesian Idol, I think I prefer last week performances than this week. I think Maria got discriminated again last night. The bottom three was: Ihsan, Ilham, and Christy. Who got voted off?? Christy got it!!! I think it should have been Ilham instead of Christy.... :(

Pagi ini, aku tidur jam 4 pagi. Kenapa koq aku mulai tidur jam segitu?? Hmm, soalnya novel: DIGITAL FORTRESS (Benteng Digital) yang aku beli 2 hari yang lalu, ceritanya tuh bener-bener menegangkan dan nggak mengijinkan aku untuk stop membaca. Waktu aku baca, ceritanya bikin aku merasa mau untuk membaca yang selanjutnya, yang selanjutnya, dan yang selanjutnya. Akhirnya, mataku bisa menyetop "godaan" itu jam 4 di pagi hari....

Aku bangun jam 9.30 pagi dan nggak merasa segar dan bertenaga, aku masih ngantuk tapi nggak bisa tidur lagi.... (tahukah bagaimana rasanya?? :( ). Jadi aku memutuskan untuk main internet dan main salah satu game PC lamaku (Sim City 4 RushHour). Waktu lagi main game, papaku dateng ke kamarku dan memberi aku banyak beberapa artikel tentang TI sebelum berburu dan membeli laptop baruku. Setelah selesai membaca semuanya, sebenernya sih kita berencana untuk pergi ke JEC, tapi papaku pingin ngajak adikku untuk pergi juga, dan dia masih mengumpulkan beberapa syarat ke SMA jadi kita harus menunggu selama beberapa menit.

Jam 2 siang, habis makan siang, kita berangkat ke JEC. Disana, kita pertama pergi ke counternya Acer dulu, soalnya kita baca iklannya di koran yang berbunyi: "Kalau anda membeli produk Acer di pameran (di Jakarta, Yogyakarta, dan Surabaya) antara tanggal 5 sampai 9 Juli, anda akan mendapatkan diskon hinggal 30%". Tapi diskon 30%nya itu kan nggak untuk semua produk, cuma untuk beberapa doank... :( (LAGI, permainan kata disini dalam kasus ini). Trus kita pindah ke counternya hp dan melihat beberapa laptop. Habis itu, kita berkeliling untuk melihat hampir semua stands yang ada yang memakan waktu 3 jam (Arrgghh, melelahkan banget tuh). Akhirnya aku mendapatkan 2 pilihan terakhirku yang mungkin mau aku beli. Dari keduanya, satu adalah kepunyaan Acer dan yang satunya adalah kepunyaan hp. (Arrgghh......, jadi sebenernya kita cuma membutuhkan 45 menit pertama untuk menda[atkan 2 terakhir ini... :( ). Habis itu kita pergi keluar dan duduk diluar deket tempat makanan. Setelah memikirkannya, aku memutuskan untuk membeli yang hp, lebih mahal sekitar Rp. 1.500.000,oo dari yang Acer sih, cuma untuk jangka panjang kayaknya akan lebih berguna deh, di samping aku lebih suka modelnya (warnanya) daripada warnanya Acer, lol. Sekarang masih belum beli sih, besok mau tanya ke toko dulu, siapa tahu bisa dapat lebih murah, he3... :D

PS: kemarin pagi waktu aku ngambil kopian STK dan STTBku, aku juga mendapatkan CD kenanganku (salah satu fitur dari buku kenangan). Sayangnya, aku nggak bisa memainkan CD ini di komputerku, aku nggak tau kenapa. Aku juga masih belum mendapatkan kesempatan untuk memainkannya di bawah di TV utama... :(

Ngomong-ngomong tentang show 7 besar Indonesian Idol, kayaknya sih aku lebih suka penampilan minggu lalu daripada yang minggu ini. Menurutku Maria juga didiskriminasi lagi semalam. Tiga terbawahnya: Ihsan, Ilham, dan Christy. Siapakah yang tersisih?? Ternyata adalah Christy!!! Menurutku sih seharusnya Ilham tuh yang tersisih daripada Christy.... :(

#171 - A Thursday Story

Yesterday morning at about 8 AM, there was a pretty big earthquake shook Jogjakarta again, at that time I was still sleeping. I realized and felt that earthquake which woke me up, but because I was still so sleepy, I thought: "It's gonnabe quick, I'd better continue my sleep". lol . When I closed my eyes, the earth was still shaking, but fortunately, after few seconds, it ended.

At 10.30 AM, I went to school to take my STK and STTB with my friends, and at 10.50 AM we arrived there. Fortunately, it started on time and luckily, I got the first turn!!! Yaaaay!!! After waiting for SOO long 2 days ago, finally I got the "privilege", lol.... . Well, apparently, both the STK and STTB hadn't been photocopied yet, and I need them to be photocopied and for sure, legalized, therefore, after getting those, I went to the photocopy stall and copied them. As a result, this morning I also have to go to school again to take those paper... :(

After that, my friends and I went to JEC to watch the Computer Expo (I think I need a laptop/notebook when I am in Bandung next month, therefore, this event is a perfect one since usually the price is lower than the normal price... :D). After walking around for 1 hour, we left JEC and went to Plaza Ambarrukmo (that has been open since 30th June last week). We went to Cinema 21 and planned to watch a movie, but we still wasn't sure what movie yet. My friend requested: Final Destination 3; at first I rejected since I thought it was a horror movie (I don't really like ghost movie or something like that), but my friend convinced me it's not a horror movie. Ok, I believed that's true, and after buying the tickets, my friend told me that it's not a horror movie, but it's a thriller movie. What!?!?!?!? Arrggghhh...., they are not so much different... . Ok, because I had already bought the ticket, so I didn't have another option. At 13.45 PM we entered the cinema room (studio 2) and started watching the movie. It was so intense, thrilling and pretty violent, so I recommend you not to watch this movie if you are with children (that's obvious, the rating is: ADULTS >> some scenes were so terrifying and many people also screamed (and also cursed and laughed) at some shocking scenes (it was probably too thrilling so we laughed, not because it's funny) . Big applause to the director, actors, and actresses, and also all crews, I think they made this film succesfully and really hit the mark. After that, we had lunch at Qua Li Restaurant, and then we left Plaza Ambarrukmo (sorry Haze, I forgot to take the meals again.... :( ).

After that, before going back home, we went to Toga Mas Bookstore first and I bought some books. I bought Dan Brown's (new) novel: DIGITAL FORTRESS. I haven't read this novel yet, I hope this is as good and interesting as the previous novels... :)

Kemarin pagi jam 8, ada gempa yang lumayan besar mengguncang kota Jogjakarta lagi, dan waktu itu aku masih tidur. Aku sadar dan merasakan gempa yang membangunkan aku itu, tapi karena aku masih ngantuk, aku mikir: "Ah, ini bakalan cepet koq, mendingan aku tidur lagi aja...". lol . Waktu aku menutup mata, gempanya masih terasa, dan untungnya, setelah beberapa detik, akhirnya berakhir juga.

Jam 10.30, aku pergi ke sekolah untuk ngambil STK dan STTBku sama temen-temenku, dan jam 10.50 pagi kami sampai disana. Untungnya, acara dimulai tepat waktu dan untungnya lagi, aku dapet giliran pertama!!! Yaaayyy!!! Setelah mengantri lama BANGET dua hari yang lalu akhirnya aku dapet "keuntungan", lol.... . Ternyata, kesemua STK dan STTBnya belum difotokopi, padahal aku butuh fotokopiannya dan tentu saja, dilegalisir, makanya, habis mendapatkannya, aku pergi ke tempat fotokopi di depan sekolah dan mengkopinya. Sebagai hasilnay, pagi ini aku harus pergi ke sekolah lagi untuk ngambil tuh kertas... :(

Habis itu, temen-temenku sama aku pergi ke JEC untuk melihat Pameran Komputer (kayaknya aku bakalan butuh laptop/notebook deh bulan depan kalo aku ke Bandung, makanya, even ini adalah yang sempurna soalnya biasanya harganya kan lebih rendah dari harga normal... :D). Habis jalan-jalan sekitar 1 jam, kita meninggalkan JEC dan pergi ke Plaza Ambarrukmo (yang sudah mulai buka sejak 30 Juni minggu lalu). Kita pergi ke Cinema 21 dan berencana untuk nonton sebuah film, tapi masih blom tahu film apa. Temenku mengusulkan: Final Destination 3; pertamanya aku menolak soalnya aku kira itu film horor (aku nggak suka film tentang hantu atau yang semacam itu lah), tapi temenku berhasil meyakinkan aku kalo itu bukan film horor. Ok, aku percaya itu benar, dan setelah beli tiketnya, temenku bilang ke aku kalo itu memang bukan film horor, tapi film thriller!! Apa!?!?!?!? Arrggghhh...., kan nggak terlalu jauh beda tuh... . Ok, karena aku udah beli tiketnya, aku nggak punya pilihan lain. Jam 13.45 siang kita masuk ke ruang nontonnya (studio 2) dan mulai nonton tuh film. Filmnya bener-bener intensif, menegangkan, dan agak sadis, jadi aku merekomendasikan untuk nggak menonton film ini kalau bersama anak-anak (jelas aja sih, ratingnya aja DEWASA >> beberapa adegan tuh bener-bener mengerikan dan banyak orang juga teriak (dan juga misuh dan tertawa) waktu beberapa adegan yang mengagetkan (mungkin karena terlalu menegangkan jadinya kita ketawa, bukan karena lucu). Tepuk tangan untuk sutradaranya, aktor, dan aktris, dan juga kru filmnya soalnya menurutku mereka membuat film ini dengan sukses dan bener-bener tepat sasaran. Habis itu kita makan di Restoran Qua Li trus meninggalkan Plaza Ambarrukmo (sorry Haze, aku lupa ngambil foto makanannya lagi... :( ).

Habis itu, sebelum pulang, aku pergi ke toko buku Toga Mas dan aku beli beberapa buku. Aku beli buk (barunya) Dan Brown: DIGITAL FORTRESS (Benteng Digital). Aku blom baca novel ini sih, moga-moga aja novelnya sama bagus dan menariknya sama novel-novel sebelumnya... :)

#170 - Wednesday...

Finally, today we stamped our STK and STTB at school. Yesterday, school told me (who called them them asking about it) that it would start at 9 AM in the morning. Okay, so today I arrived at 8.50 AM, 10 minutes before it was supposed to start. Because I still had 10 minutes, so I went to the photocopy stall just accross my school to photocopy my report book. After all pages were photocopied, I went to TU (school office) and left those pages there to be legalized by the headmaster. In the office, I asked one office worker there when we would start to stamp, guess what his answer was?? School hadn't finished checking all the STK and STTB yet, so probably it would start at 11 AM!!! What!?!?!?!? So we had to wait for about 2 hours more!?!?! Arrrggghhhh.... .

Two hours by doing nothing is almost the same with infinity for me. So, I decided to leave school first, then came back close to 11 AM. I left school with one of my friend, and I accompanied him to go to the ATM center. After that, we realized that we had only "killed" 37 minutes... . We then went to one of my friend's house and spent our time there until 10.30 AM. After that, we went back to school and arrived at 10.55 AM, pretty close to 11 AM. However, we apparently still had to wait (probably today my fate was "waiting"). At 11.30 AM, it finally started... :( Unfortunately, again, we had to queue. We were separated only by our stream (science and social), it had no effect since there are still so many students, I think we should have been separated by classes, so it would be a lot quicker.... . After 45 minutes waiting, finally I got my turn... . Then, I went back home after making sure that tomorrow we will start at 11 AM... :)

Akhirnya hari ini kami mengecap STK danSTTB di sekolah. Kemarin sekolah bilang ke aku (yang menelepon sekolah tanya tentang acara ini) kalo bakal mulai jam 9 pagi. Oke, jadinya tadi pagi aku sampe jam 8.50 pagi, 10 menit sebelum acara seharusnya dimulai. Karena aku masih punya waktu 10 menit, jadi aku pergi ke warung fotokopi di seberang sekolahku untuk memfotokopi buku raportku. Habis semua halaman selesai difotokopi, aku balik ke sekolah dan pergi ke TU (Tata Usaha) dan meninggalkan lembaran-lembaran itu disana untuk dilegalisir sama kepala sekolah. Di kantor, aku tanya ke salah satu karyawannya disana kapan acaranya bakalan dimulai, tapi tebak apa jawabannya?? Sekolah belom selesai mengecek semua STK dan STTB, jadi mungkin baru mulai jam 11 pagi!!! Apa!?!?!?!?!? Jadi kita harus menunggu selama 2 jam lagi!?!?! Arrrggghhhh.... .

Dua jam dengan nggak melakukan apa-apa itu hampir sama dengan selamanya untuk aku. Jadi, aku memutuskan untuk pergi dari sekolah dulu, trus baru balik mendekati jam 11 siang. Aku pergi dari sekolah sama salah satu temenku, dan menemani dia pergi ke tempat ATM. Habis itu, baru sadar kalo ternyata kita baru "membunuh" waktu sebanyak 37 menit... .Kita trus pergi ke rumah salah satu temenku dan membuang waktu disana sampe jam 10.30. Habis itu baru kita pergi balik ke sekolah dan sampe jam 10.55 siang, lumayan deket ke jam 11. Bagaimanapun juga, kita masih harus menunggu ternyata (mungkin nasibku hari ini adalah "menunggu"). Jam 11.30 siang, baru deh akhirnya dimulai... :( Sayangnya, lagi-lagi, kita harus mengantri. Kami dibagi berdasarkan jurusan (kelas IPA - IPS), yang sebenernya nggak terlalu ngefek, soalnya masih banyak banget muridnya, menurutku seharusnya sih dibaginya berdasarkan kelas, jadi akan menjadi lebih cepat... . Habis menunggu selama 45 menit, akhirnya tiba juga giliranku... . Habis itu aku pulang setelah memastikan kalo besok acaranya mulai jam 11 siang... :)

#169 - Clueless and confused!!!

Arrgghhh.... . Today I don't know what to write here, I'm so clueless.... :(

Well, actually beside clueless, I'm also a bit confused about this issue: "When should I go to school to take (and also stamp) my STK and STTB?" There are (at least) 2 versions about it. The first one is next Tuesday (which means tomorrow), and the second one is next Wednesday (the day after tomorrow). I think I'm gonna believe the latter, because this info, as my friends said, came from my school's secretary while the former came from the security guard. Without any offense to all security guards, I think in this situation, we should believe more to the school secretary right?? Because she manages or at least knows more about school's activity than the security guard... :) But I'm still waiting for further info, he3... :) >>> this is not really necessary to be written here, isn't it??

Arrgghhh.... . Hari ini aku nggak tau apa yang harus ditulis disini, aku bener-bener nggak ada ide.... :(

Hmm, sebenernya disamping nggak ada ide, aku juga sedikit bingung sih sama masalah ini: "Kapan sih aku mesti pergi ke sekolah untuk mengambil (dan mengecap) STK dan STTBku?" Ada (paling nggak) 2 versi tentang ini. Yang pertama adalah besok Selasa (yang berarti besok), dan yang kedua besok Rabu (yang berarti lusa). Kayaknya sih aku bakalan lebih mempercayai yang kedua soalnya info ini, sesuai kata temenku, katanya didapat dari sekretaris sekolahku sementara yang pertama datang dari satpam sekolah. Tanpa maksud menyinggung semua satpam, aku rasa di dalam situasi seperti ini, kita perlu untuk lebih percaya ke sekretaris sekolah kan?? Soalnya kan dia yang mengatur atau paling nggak tahu lebih tentang aktivitas sekolah daripada satpan... :) Tapi aku masih menunggu info selanjutnya, he3... :) >>> nah, nggak penting untuk ditulis kan??

Just as I wrote last week at this post, today my class had our last farewell "party". For me, it's not really a party where we SPENT our time, but we WASTED our time (or at least my time). Why?? Yesterday one friend called me to arrive at school at 5 PM today, okay, I arrived 5 minutes before 5 PM, and guess what?? Most (or almost all) friends hadn't arrived yet, and we had to wait for about 1 hour... :( Well, we actually decided to go to one of our teacher's home and had dinner there (the menu is "special", dog tongseng, but for those who are Moslem and Hindu, they ate chicken tongseng).

At 5.50 PM, finally we left our school (we met at school), and arrived at about 6.30 PM at our teacher's house (it was pretty far from Jogja, about 15 km I think, but because his house is not on the main street, so it's pretty difficult to find... :( ). Well, when we arrived there, we still had to wait, and you know what?? He had to wait for almost 2 hours!! At 8.10 PM finally we started having dinner... . After that, my friend and I decided to go home earlier (well, it was no use staying there, some friends planned to get drunk and smoke... :( ). Then, because my friend was still hungry, so we went to KFC and had dinner again there, lol... :P After that we went back home.

Last week, I got a prize from school, and after unwrapping it, apparently I get 2 books and a jacket!! That's pretty nice... :D

Well, talking about the show Indonesian Idol last night. I think some of them did great, the best was, for me, Maria (I scored 9.3) and the worst was Christy (4.5). And Indonesia decided the bottom three was: Christy, Dirly, and Sisi. After surviving for 3 weeks from elimination of bottom three, finally Sisi got voted off.

Yaaay, finally Oggix has fixed the problem!! So, again, I go back to Oggix for my Shout Box!!

BAHASA INDONESIA

Seperti yang sudah aku tulis minggu lalu di postingan ini, hari ini kelasku mengadakan "pesta" perpisahan kami. Untuk aku, itu bukan suatu pesta dimana kita MENGHABISKAN waktu kita, tapi kita MEMBUANG waktu kita (paling nggak untuk aku sih). Kenapa?? Kemarin temenku telepon aku untuk datang jam 5 sore hari ini, oke, aku datang jam 5 kurang 5, dan tebak apa?? Kebanyakan (atau hampir semua) temenku belum datang ternyata, dan kita harus menunggu sekitar 1 jam... :( Hmm, sebenernya sih kita merencanakan untuk pergi ke rumah salah satu guru kami dan makan malam disana (menunya "special", tongseng anjing, tapi untuk mereka yang Muslim dan Hindu, mereka makan tongseng ayam).

Jam 5.50 sore, akhirnya kita meninggalkan sekolah kita (kita bertemu di sekolah), dan sampai sekitar jam 6.30 sore di rumah guru kami (lumayan jauh sih dari Jogja, sekitar 15 km kayaknya, tapi karena rumahnya nggak di pinggir jalan utama, jadinya ya agak susah juga menemukannya... :( ). Trus, ketika kita sudah sampai disana, ternyata kita masih haris menunggu, dan tau nggak?? Kita harus menunggu selama hampir 2 jam!! Jam 8.10 malam akhirnya kita bisa mulai makan... . Habis itu, temenku sama aku memutuskan untuk pulang duluan (nggak ada gunanya lah tinggal disana, beberapa temen malah berencana mau mabuk sama ngerokok... :( ). Trus, karena temenku masih laper, jadinya kita pergi ke KFC dan makan lagi disana, lol... :) Habis itu kita balik ke rumah.

Minggu lalu, aku dapet hadiah dari sekolah, dan setelah membuka bungkusnya, ternyata aku dapet 2 buah buku dan sebuah jaket!! Lumayan juga tuh... :D

Ngomong-ngomong tentang show Indonesian Idol tadi malam, menurutku beberapa melakukannya dengan baik, dan yang terbak adalah, menurutku, Maria (aku kasi nilai 9.3) dan terjelek adalah Christy (nilai 4.5). Dan Indonesia memilih 3 terbawahnya adalah: Christy, Dirly, dan Sisi. Setelah bertahan selama 3 minggu dari ancaman eliminasi tiga terbawah, akhirnya Sisi tersisih.

Yaaay, akhirnya Oggix sudah memperbaiki permasalahannya!! Jadi, lagi, aku kembali ke Oggix untuk Shout Box-ku!!
