One Day Before UAN

Tomorrow the national final examination (UAN) for high school will start, and we will have Indonesian as the first subject. I have been off from school for 3 days (since last Saturday), and actually we were recommended to use this time to prepare ourselves having the final examination. I haven't studied hard this last 3 days because I just think that it's non sense if we studied very very hard this 3 days but on the day: blank. It has been very very late to start studying on last Saturday. One thing that really frightens me about this UAN is the answer sheet. We will use the computer-based answer sheet, and some people said that the paper we will use is just the standart HVS (which I think is too thin as a computer-based answer sheet). This can cause some silly mistakes (we actually answered correctly but some were counted as wrong answers since we didn't block the option perfectly). But so far, when I was in Elementary School and Junior High School, the paper was not that thin (the paper was the real answer sheet, pretty thick).

Besok, Ujian Akhir Nasional (UAN) untuk tingkatan SMA bakalan dimulai, dan kita bakalan menghadapi Bahasa Indonesia sebagai mata pelajaran yang pertama. Aku libur dari sekolah selama 3 hari (sejak hari Sabtu kemarin ) >> hari tenang, dan sebenernya kita disarankan untuk menggunakan waktu ini sebaik mungkin untuk mempersiapkan diri kita menghadapi ujian akhir. Aku nggak belajar dengan keras 3 hari ini soalnya aku mikir sama aja atau percuma aja kalo kita belajar sangat sangat keras 3 hari ini dan di hari-Hnya: kosong. Sudah sangat terlambat kalau mau mulai belajar kemarin Sabtu. Satu hal yang menakutkan aku dalam UAN ini adalah lembar jawabannya. Kita akan memakai lembar jawaban komputer (LJK), dan beberapa orang ngomong kalo kertas yang bakalan dipakai tuh kertas HVS biasa (yang menurutku terlalu tipis untuk dipakai sebagai LJK). Ini bisa menyebabkan beberapa kesalahan konyol (kita sebenarnya menjawab dengan benar naum jawaban itu dihitung salah soalnya kita nggak menghitamkan pilihan kita dengan sempurna). Tapi sejauh ini, waktu aku di SD sama SMP, kertasnya nggak setipis itu koq (kertasnya tuh bener-bener LJK yang sebenernya, lumayan tebel)

Last Day in High-School

This morning was my last day for me to have lessons in high-school, because starting tomorrow until Monday we (the third grade students) will be off from school to prepare ourselves facing the national final examination (UAN) next Tuesday until Thursday.... . On Tuesday we will have Indonesian, on Wednesday mathematics (or economy for those who are in social stream), and on Thursday we will have English test....

Talking about result show of American Idol 2006 this week, it was shocking, but actually it's pretty predictable because everything can happen when we have come to this level (top 4). Chris Daughtry and Katharine McPhee were in the bottom two this week which means that Elliott Yamin and Taylor Hicks got the two highest number of votes. As I have written in this blog (in the last message before this), Katharine McPhee got big disadvantages which really endagered her position. She was the only girl left and the theme this week was Elvis Presley. For me, it's very unfair if we judge her performances this week with the same parameters as we judge the boys' performances because of those disadvantages. Then, so far, the guest stars (tutor) on Idol were all male, and some themes were very 'men', let's say Elvis Presley and Queen. I just think what would happen if the guest stars or the themes were very 'women' such as Mariah Carey or Celine Dion, would the boys perform just as good as they have done so far?? Or, were the girls really not as good as the boys just like what we have watched so far??

Well, today is the second workshop for the boys in Indonesian Idol, and three contestants were voted off just one hour ago and they are: Gleno, Robin, and Kaleb. What!?!?!?! The last two are good enough to continue their journey on Idol (or even deserve to be in the top 12), but why?? While in other side, 2 boys which are not great still stick around there (Dirly and Omar which I think are only good-looking but in singing, they are not as good as they face).

Pagi ini adalah hari terakhirku mendapat pelajaran di SMA, soalnya mulai besok kita (siswa kelas tiga) bakalan libur dari sekolah (hari tenang) untuk mempersiapkan diri menghadapi Ujian Akhir Nasional (UAN) besok Selasa sampai Kamis.... . Hari Selasa kita ujian Bahasa Indonesia, hari Rabu matematika (atau ekonomi untuk mereka yang berada di jurusan IPS), dan di hari Kamis ujian Bahasa Inggris...

Ngomongin tentang result show dari American Idol 2006 minggu ini, benar-benar bikin shock, tapi sebenernya bisa diduga soalnya semua hal bisa terjadi setelah kita sampai pada tahap ini (4 besar). Chris Daughtry dan Katharine McPhee berada di dua terendah minggu ini yang berarti Elliott Yamin dan Taylor Hicks mendapatkan suara dengan jumlah dua terbanyak. Seeprti yang sudah aku tulis di blog ini (di message terakhir sebelum ini), Katharine McPhee mendapat kerugian yang sangat besar minggu ini yang benar-benar membahayakan posisinya. Dia adalah satu-satunya kontestan perempuan yang tersisa dan tema minggu ini adalah Elvis Presley. Untuk aku, sangat nggak adil kalo kita menilai penampilan Katharine dengan parameter yang sama kalo kita menilai penampilan para kontestan laki-laki soalnya gara-gara kerugian itu. Trus, sejauh ini, bintang tamunya (tutornya) adalah selalu laki-laki dan bahkan beberapa tema sangat 'laki-laki', misalnya aja Elvis Presley dan Queen. Aku cuma berpikir, apa yang terjadi kalo misalnya bintang tamu atau temanya tuh 'wanita' banget misalnya Mariah Carey atau Celine Dion, apakah yang laki-laki akan tampil sebagus yang sudah mereka tunjukkan selama ini?? Atu apakah yang perempuan memang nggak sebagus yang laki-laki seperti yang sudah kita lihat sejauh ini??

Hari ini adalah hari workshop kedua untuk kontestan laki-laki di Indonesian Idol, dan tiga kontestan tersisih baru sekitar 1 jam yang lalu, merek adalah: Gleno, Robin, dan Kaleb. Apa!?!?!?!?! Dua yang terakhir tuh cukup bagus untuk bertahan di Indonesian Idol (atau bahkan layak masuk 12 besar), tapi kenapa?? Di sisi lain, 2 laki-laki yang nggak bagus masih bertahan disana (Dirly dan Omar yang menurutku memang cakep, tapi kalo nyanyi nggak sebagus wajah mereka).

Tuesday and new TV Shows

I post this a lil' bit late actually because I write about what happened yesterday... .

Yesterday my friends and I went to Plaza Ambarrukmo and had dinner at Qua Li Restaurant. Well, we arrived there at 6 PM and then we went to the third floor. They then mocked me that Qua Li was not very crowded, and yes, not all seats and tables were occupied at that time. But that's okay, and they asked me to go around the mall first before having meal and I just said yes. Then, I offered to go to TimeZone and they all refused. But what happened next? When we passed TimeZone 2 of them called me to come in to TimeZone (arrrgghhh, what did they mean by that?? :?:). Then, finally I knew what they really wanted. They wanted to play BUT didn't want to pay!! They used my cards and mostly they played, not me. And what was their reason?? Because I was the one who offered to go there, but it actually didn't make any sense. I offered, they refused, then I accepted it and decided to go somewhere else, but they changed their mind, asked me to go to TZ, and asked me to pay... . That's tricky, but that's okay, I just kept silent because I didn't want to argue in a public place... . Then, after walking around for 1 hour, we went back to Qua Li and guess what?? We almost didn't get seats!!

Starting today, one private television channel started to present the reailty show The Apprentice season 4. I haven't watch this season yet before, but I have already read some episodes synopsises in the official website, but that's okay because watching on TV and reading in the web are two different things even actually they both tell us the same thing.... :) Talking about the top 4 show of American Idol 2006, IMO, the producer really want to win male contestant this year. There is only 1 female contestant left, and what did the producer pick as the theme this week?? ELVIS PRESLEY!!! Wow, it's definitely unfair for Katharine McPhee since she is the only girl left and she had to sing that kind of music.... . All the guys did great I think, and Katharine did pretty great (again not her best performance). For me, those who deserved most to go are probably Elliott Yamin or Taylor Hicks. They did great, but they almost always get advantages week and week, in other side, the female contestants almost always take the disadvantages week and week (the guest stars are all male, and some themes are not fair for girl). Hmmm.... . Well, one good news. I read that, apparently, people outside the US CAN vote for American Idol, and they said that it's free too... . This afternoon I tried to vote for Katharine, but both lines for her were all busy.

Aku ngepos ini kayaknya agak terlambat sedikit sih soalnya aku menulis tentang apa yang terjadi kemarin... .

Kemarin aku sama temen-temenku pergi ke Plaza Ambarrukmo dan makan malam di Restoran Qua-Li. Kita sampe disana jam 6 sore trus langsung naik ke lantai tiga. Mereka trus mengejek aku soalnya pas itu Qua-Li masih nggak seberapa rame, dan bener aja, nggak semua kursi dan meja terpakai waktu itu. Tapi nggak papa, trus mereka ngajak aku untuk jalan-jalan dulu sebelum makan dan aku ngikut aja. Trus, aku menawarkan untuk pergi ke TimeZone dan mereka semua menolak. Tapi apa yang terjadi kemudian? Waktu kita melewati TimeZone, dua dari mereka memanggil aku untuk masuk ke TimeZone (arrggghhh, maksudnya apaan tuh?? :?:). Trus akhirnya aku tahu apa maksud terselubung mereka. Mereka kepingin main TETAPI nggak mau bayar!! Mereka pake kartuku dan yang kebanyakan main malah mereka, bukan aku. Dan apakah alasan mereka?? Soalnya kan aku yang ngajak kesana, dan sebenernya sih itu sangat nggak masuk akal. Aku menawarkan, mereka neolak, aku menerima dan memutuskan untuk pergi ke tempat lain, tetapi mereka merubah pikiran mereka, minta aku pergi ke TZ, dan nyuruh aku membayar... . Hmm, itu licik kan? Tapi nggak papa, aku diem aja soalnya nggak mau ribut di tempat umum... . Trus setelah 1 jam, kita balik ke Qua-Li dan tebak apa?? Kita hampir nggak dapet tempat duduk!!

Dimulai hari ini, salah satu stasiun televisi swasta mulai menayangkan reality show The Apprentice musim keempat. Aku belum pernah nonton season ini sebelumnya sih, cuma aku sudah membaca sinopsis dari beberapa episodenya di website resminya, tapi nggak papa soalnya nonton langsung di TV dan membaca di web adalah dua hal yang berbeda bahkan kalau dua-duanya sama-sama menceritakan hal yang sama.... :) Ngomong-ngomong tentang show 4 besar dari American Idol 2006, menurutky, produsernya kepingin yang menang adalah kontestan laki-laki tahun ini. Sekarang cuma ada 1 kontestan wanita yang tersisa, dan apa tema yang sama produsernya diangkat minggu ini? ELVIS PRESLEY!!! Wow, jelas-jelas nggak adil tuh untuk Katharine McPhee soalnya dia adalah satu-satunya kontestan yperempuan yang tersisa dan dia harus menyanyikan jenis lagu seperti itu.... . Semua kontestan laki-laki bagus menurutku, dan Katharine lumayan bagus (bukan penampilannya yang terbagus sih). Untuk aku, mereka yang paling layak untuk pulang minggu ini adalah mungkin Elliott Yamin atau Taylor Hicks. Mereka bagus sebenernya, tetapi mereka hampir selalu mendapatkan keuntungan minggu demi minggu sementara di sisi lain kontestan perempuan hampir selalu menerima ketidakuntungan minggu demi minggu (bintang tamunya semuanya laki-laki, dan beberapa temanya nggak adil untuk yang wanita). Hmmm.... . Satu berita baik. Aku membaca kalo ternyata orang di luar Amerika Serikat BISA ikutan voting untuk American Idol, dan konon katanya gratis juga.... . Siang ini aku mencoba untuk vote buat Katharine, tapi semua line telponnya lagi sibuk.

Bad things which make me complete

I got a homework from Wina a.k.a Mamanya Zaki about my bad habits.... :) Hmm..., it's hard actually to find my bad things because I'm a good man, lol (kidding... :P). Ok, here they are...

1. Inconsistent

Sometimes I can be a very dilligent person but sometimes I can also be the laziest person in the world, it all depends on my mood... . It's good if I'm on my good mood, but when I'm on my bad mood and have assignments to finish, I won't do those earlier but I'll do them close to the deadline... . I'm also inconsistent sometimes in money. Sometimes I can be a very thrifty person, but in other times, I'm also a wasteful person.

2. "Hungry" when reading the menus in restaurants

I mean, when I order food in a restaurant, I usually think: "This food looks delicious, or this menu seems to be tasty, etc..". Because of that, I order many some kinds of food, and I'm sure you know what happens with the bill... :( In fact, actually I don't need that many kinds of food, and after having meal, I feel very full....

3. Impatient

Sometimes I'm also an impatient person. I will feel the anger inside of me when I see somebody doing their job or work slowly just like slug moving or when I stand in the bottom of a queue and have to wait for some times, or when I have to wait for an empty table when I want to eat at a busy restaurant (I just feel that I want to force them to go... :P).

4. Perfectionist

I realize that I'm a perfectionist person (I don't know this is included as a bad thing or not... :P). I want everything to be done perfectly. This is one example where my perfectionist side brings me to a not very good result (and it usually happens when I have exams at school with computer-based answer sheet). At school when we have multiple-choices exams, we use computer-based answer sheet where we have to encircle and block the option that we choose with 2B pencil. There are circles that we have to block, and we are warned that if we don't block it correctly (we don't block it fully or we blocked too much (so we also block the area outside the circle)), the computer won't read that and for sure our answer will be considered as a wrong answer eventhough actually our answer is correct. Because of that, in every single question, I'll always try to block the circle perfectly, and of course it's very hard, some times I just block it a little too much (actually that's okay because it's only a little) and I don't feel happy with that and I try to perfect it by erasing the 'too much' area and try to block again. Of course it's very wasting my time. Probably I just need 3 seconds to know the answer, but it needs 60 second just to block the option... :(

Those are all bad things that I can find right now.... :) I want to throw this homework to Mr. Hendri Bun and Mrs. Yulia. Anyone else wants this homework?? Take it... :)

Aku dapet PR dari Wina a.k.a Mamanya Zaki tentang kebiasaan-kebiasaan burukku... :) Hmm.., sebenernya susah nih untuk mencari kejelekanku soalnya kan aku orang yang baik, wakakakaka (bercanda... :P). Ok, inilah mereka.....

1. Tidak Konsisten

Kadang-kadang aku adalah orang yang sangat rajin, tapi kadang-kadang aku juga bisa jadi orang yang paling malas di dunia, semuanya itu tergantung kepada moodku... . Bagus sih kalo aku lagi ada di mood yang enak, tapi kalo aku lagi bad mood dan punya tugas untuk diselesaikan, wah aku nggak bakalan ngerjain tuh tugas awal-awal tapi malah bakalan ngerjainnya mepet ke tenggat waktu penutupannya. Aku juga nggak konsisten tentang uang. Kadang aku jadi orang yang sangat hemat, tapi di lain waktu menjadi orang yang boros.

2. "Lapar" waktu membaca menu di restoran

Maksudku, waktu lagi mesen makanan di restoran, aku biasanya mikir: "Wah, makanan ini kayaknya oke, atau menu yang ini kelihatannya enak banget, dsb". Karena itu, aku memesan banyak beberapa macam menu, dan aku yakin pasti pada tahu apa yang terjadi dengan tagihannya... :( Kenayataanya sebenernya aku nggak butuh sebanyak itu loh makanannya, dan habis makan aku ngerasa kenyang banget....

3. Nggak sabaran

Kadang-kadang aku juga adalah seseorang yang nggak sabaran. Aku bakalan ngerasa marah atau jengkel ketika aku melihat seseorang melakukan pekerjaannya pelan-pelan kayak siput yang lagi bergerak atau ketika aku harus berdiri di belakang antrian dan harus menunggu lama, atau ketika aku harus menunggu meja kosong waktu lagi ngantri di restoran yang rame (aku ngerasa kayak mau maksa mereka biar pergi... :P).

4. Perfeksionis

AKu menyadari kalo aku adalah seseorng yang perfeksionis (aku nggak tau sih apakah ini tergolong hal jelek apa enggak... :P). Aku mau semuanya tuh dikerjakan dan selesai dengan sempurna. Ini adalah satu contoh dimana sisi perfeksionisku justru membawaku ke hasil yang nggak begitu bagus (dan ini sering terjadi ketika aku lagi ujian di sekolah dengan lembar jawaban komputer). Di sekolah ketika kita lagi ujian pilihan ganda, kita menggunakan lembar jawaban komputer dimana kita harus melingkari dan mengeblok pilihan kita dengan pensil 2B. Jadi di lembarnya tuh ada lingkaran-lingkaran yang harus kita hitamkan, dan kita juga diperingkatkan bahwa kalau kita tidak mengeblok dengan benar (kita tidak menghitamkan dengan penuh atau menghitamkannya terlalu banyak (jadi area di luar lingkaran juga kita hitamkan)), maka komputer nggak akan membaca jawaban kita dan tentu saja jawaban kita akan dihitung salah walaupun sebenernya jawaban kita benar. Maka dari itu aku selalu berusaha untuk menghitamkan dengan sempurna di setiap soal, dan tentu saja itu sangat susah, kadang aku menghitamkan cuma sedikit banget kelebihan (yang sebenernya nggak papa soalnya cuma sedikit kelebihannya) dan aku nggak merasa nyaman dengan itu dan aku mencoba untuk menyempurnakannya dengan cara menghapus bagian 'terlalu banyak' trus mencoba menghitamkan lagi. Tentu saja ini sangat memboroskan waktuku. Mungkin aku cuma membutuhkan waktu 3 detik untuk menjawab soalnya, tapi membutuhkan 60 detik cuma untuk menghitamkan pilihannya... :(

Itu semua adalah keburukanku yang bisa aku temukan saat ini... :) Aku mau melempar PR ini ke Oom Hendri Bun dan Tante Yulia. Ada yang lain yang mau PR ini?? Ambil aja... :)

Saturday the sixth (Second Examination Day)

Today is the second day of the final examination from school (UAS). I had history and chemistry this morning, and so far, chemistry was the easiest one.... . Biology apparently was not as easy as I thought before, so were PPKn and history (but they were not as hard as TPHBS). Next Monday is, I think, gonnabe the hardest day since we have Physics (which the school average for TPHBS was 4.98) and Religion.

Talking about Indonesian Idol, this week the workshop round started. We had 14 boys and 14 girls competing for the 12 seats in the spectacular show (6 for boys and 6 for girls). This week we eliminated 4 boys and 4 girls. The boys performances and result show are on Friday night and the girls performances and result show are on Saturday night. This week we eliminated Rivi, Richard, Aris, and Arif from the boys and Flora, Liz, Yara, and Izma from the girls. IMO, this season, the winner will be a girl. Some of the girls were very good tonight and I voted for them, they are Depe (the next Nania I think, she has powerful voice, also almost like Mandisa), Tia (she was also in Indonesian Idol season 1 but voted off in the workshop round), Gea (nice personality and performance), Maria (nice voice and I think she is one of the most good-looking girl this season), and Christy (nice voice). Some other contestants were also good (Brinet, Sisi, and Dian). For the boys, I don't think they are as good as the girls, some were good yesterday, but some were terrible. I bet guess the winner will be a girl...

Actually I got a homework from Wina a.k.a Mamanya Zaki, but I keep it for next week... :) So, be patient... >> trust me, I will do that homework... :D

Hari ini adalah hari kedua dari Ujian Akhir Sekolahku (UAS). Tadi pagi aku ujian sejarah dan kimia, dan sejauh ini, kimia adalah yang paling gampang.... . Biologi ternyata nggak segampang yang aku kira sebelumnya, juga PPKn dan sejarah (walaupun keduanya juga nggak sesusah soal TPHBS kemarin sih). Besok Senin, menurutku, bakalan menjadi hari yang terberat soalnya kita ujian Fisika (yang rata-rata sekolah pas TPHBS kemarin adalah 4,98) dan Pendidikan Religiositas.

Ngomongin tentang Indonesian Idol, minggu ini babak workshop dimulai. Kita mempunyai 14 kontestan laki-laki dan 14 kontestan perempuan untuk bersaing mendapatkan 12 kursi di babak spektakuler (6 untuk laki-laki dan 6 untuk perempuan). Minggu ini kita mengeliminasi 4 cowok dan 4 cewek. Penampilan laki-laki dan result shownya diadain hari Jumat malam dan penampilan perempuan dan result shownya ditayangin Sabtu malam. Minggu ini kita mengeliminasi Rivi, Richard, Aris, dan Aris dari grup laki-laki dan This Flora, Liz, Yara, dan Izma dari grup perempuan. Menurutku, tahun ini, pemenangnya bakalan perempuan. Beberapa perempuan bagus loh tadi dan aku mendukung mereka, mereka adalah Depe (penerusnya Nania di season 3 ini, dia punya suara yang kuat, hampir mirip kayak Mandisa), Tia (dia juga ikutan Indonesian Idol season pertama tapi tereliminasi di babak workshop), Gea (kepribadian dan penampilannya menarik), Maria (suaranya bagus dan menurutku sih dia termasuk salah satu kontestan perempuan yang paling good-looking deh season ini), dan Christy (suaranya bagus). Beberapa kontestan lumayan bagus juga (Brinet, Sisi, dan Dian). Untuk laki-lakinya, menurutku mereka nggak sebagus kontestan perempuannya, beberapa bagus sih kemarin, tapi beberapa parah banget. Aku taruhan menebak yang menang bakalan perempuan...

Sebenernya aku dapet PR nih dari Wina a.k.a Mamanya Zaki, tapi aku simpen dulu untuk minggu depan ya... :) Jadi, bersabarlah... >> percayalah, aku bakalan ngerjain tuh PR koq.... :D

One Day Before UAS

Today is the last day before the UAS (final examination from school for biology, PPKn, Chemistry, History, Religion, and Physics) starts. Actually my school is a lil' bit late if compared with other schools because in other schools, UAS started last Monday (and usually any kinds of exams start on Monday). But that's not a big issue.... . Tomorrow I'll have PPKn and Biology exams, wish me luck.... :)

Problems keep coming up in our Bali Vacation. Yesterday two of my friends called me that they probably won't go to Bali because at that day (29th May, the last day we're in Bali) they probably have to register for the SPMB (National University Entrance Examination) >> but I think they don't have to register by themselves right?? It's only the registration and NOT the Entrance Examination.... . That's peculiar. Then, because of that, of course the ammount of money that we have to spend raises, and one of my friend complains about it and asks to reduce our time in Bali (so that 2 friends will go to Bali too), but I said that if he wants to reduce, that's okay because when we get back from Bali, we will get the more expensive tickets since the promotion tickets for that day have already been sold out. Plus, if so, we also have to reschedule our plan, call many places, manage many things, and we still have to face Final Examinations, and our trip to Bali is only 3 weeks ahead. Then is about the hotels, it's not that easy to find hotels in Bali, but I think we can handle it. All the problems are now almost solved and it really releives me.

Talking about the top 5 show of American Idol 2006 this week, I think it was not the best night ever. For me, the best two are Chris Daughtry and Katharine McPhee (her second performance was great, you can watch the video below), and the worst two are Elliott Yamin and Paris Bennett. They are not bad actually, they are both good, but if I have to rank them, they are in the bottom two. And the result show?? I think America agreed with me, Elliott Yamin and Paris Bennett were in the bottom two. Who is out?? Just watch the show... :)

Hari ini adalah hari terakhir sebelum UAS (Ujian Akhir Sekolah untuk mata pelajaran biologi, PPKn, Kimia, Sejarah, Pendidikan Religiositas, Sejarah, dan Fisika) dimulai. Sebenernya sih sekolahku bisa dikatakan agak sedikit terlambat kalo dibandingkan dengan sekolah lain soalnya di sekolah lain, UAS dimulai Senin kemarin (dan biasanya ujian-ujian dalam bentuk apapun kan dimulainya hari Senin). Tapi itu bukan masalah yang besar... . Besok aku bakalan ujian PPKn sama Biologi, doakan aku yaa.... :)

Masalah demi masalah muncul dalam Liburan ke Bali nanti. Kemarin dua temenku telpon aku dan bilang kalo mereka mungkin nggak ikut pergi ke Bali soalnya hari itu (tanggal 29, hari terakhir) mereka mungkin mau mendaftar SPMB (Sistem Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru) >> tapi menurutku kan mereka nggak harus mendaftar sendiri kan?? Ini kan cuma pendaftaran dan BUKAN ujian masuknya... . Aneh banget. Trus, gara-gara itu kan otomatis biaya yang haris ditanggung per-orang jadi naik, nah trus salah satu temenku yang lain komplain dan meminta mengurangi waktu di Bali (jadi 2 anak itu pasti ikutan ke Bali juga), tapi aku bilang aja, kalo dikurangi oke-oke aja, tapi tiket pulangnya bakalan dapet yang mahal soalnya tiket promosi untuk tanggal itu dah habis. Lagian, kalo gitu kan harus menyusun ulang jadwal, telpon sana-sini, ngurus macem-macem, padahal kita masih harus ujian dan 3 minggu lagi mau berangkat ke Bali. Trus tentang hotelnya, nggak gampang juga untuk menemukan hotel di Bali, tapi kayaknya sih bisa dirusu koq. Hampir semua masalah sekarang diselesaikan dan itu bener-bener melegakan aku.

Ngomong-ngomong tentang show 5 besar dari American Idol 2006 minggu ini, menurutku bukanlah malam yang terbaik. Untuk aku, dua terbaik adalah Chris Daughtry dan Katharine McPhee (lagu keduanya keren banget, bisa dilihat tuh videonya di bawah), dan dua terburuk adalah Elliott Yamin dan Paris Bennett. Mereka nggak jelek sih sebenernya, semuanya bagus, cuma kalo harus diranking, mereka berada di 2 terbawah. Dan hasilnya?? Kayaknya America setuju sama aku, Elliott Yamin dan Paris Bennett berada di dua terendah. Siapakah yang tereliminasi?? Nonton aja deh shownya.... :)

Exhausting Day

Today was an exhausting day for me because I had to manage many things. School was also truly exhausting because we only had practices, practices, and practices these days (especially for math >> many students would fail if their UAN results (especially in math and physics) are the same with their TPHBS results). My physics teacher is really cruel just like a living evil. Tomorrow she will give us our last examination, and the materials are all from the first to the third grade of high-school!!! Arrrggghhhh......

Then, after school, my friends and I went to Garuda Indonesia's office to reserve tickets. Well, actually we plan to go to Bali after UAN this month (this topic is what we discussed several times before this in some restaurants or in my home...). At first we planned to go to Lombok also, but because the ticket from Lombok to Jogja is expensive (Rp. 612,000.oo per-person) while the ticket from Jogja to Bali or Bali to Jogja is only Rp. 319,000,oo; then we decided to cancel our plan to Lombok >> so we go to Bali only. We also went to Merpati and Lion Air's offices to ask about their tickets and fares from Bali to Lombok, but they are all expensive, more than Rp. 300,ooo.oo per-person >> Lombok is very close to Bali, about 15 minutes by plane, and it costs that much?? NO WAY!!! Well, I now realize that Garuda Indonesia is probably really the best airline in Indonesia after coming to the 3 offices of 3 airlines. Merpati was the worst, their computer was broken down >> so ridiculous!!! After that we had lunch/dinner at Avenue-A Pizza.

Hari ini adalah hari yang melelahkan untuk aku soalnya aku harus mengurus banyak hal. Sekolah juga bener-bener melelahkan soalnya kita cuma menghadapi latihan, latihan, dan latihan akhir-akhir ini (terutama untuk matematika >> banyak murid yang bakalan nggak lulus kalo misalnya nanti hasil UAN mereka (terutama matematika dan fisika) sama kayak hasil TPHBS mereka). Guru fisikaku bener-bener kejam kayak iblis yang hidup tuh. Besok dia bakalan ngasih kita ulangan terakhir, dan bahannya tuh semua dari kelas satu sampe kelas tiga SMA!!Arrrggghhhh......

Trus, habis sekolah, temenku sama aku pergi ke kantornya Garuda Indonesia untuk pesen tiket. Sebenernya kita rencana mau ke Bali habis UAN selesai bulan ini (topik ini adalah topik yang kita diskusikan beberapa kali sebelum ini di beberapa restoran dan di rumahku...). Pertamanya kita rencana mau pergi ke Lombok juga, tapi karena tiket dari Lombok ke Jogja tuh mahal banget (Rp. 612.000,oo satu orang) sementara tiket dari Jogja-Bali atau Bali-Jogja cuma Rp. 319.000,oo; trus kita memutuskan untuk membatalkan rencana ke Lombok >> jadi cuma ke Bali doank. Kita juga pergi ke kantornya Merpati dan Lion Air untuk tanya tiket dan harga tiket dari Bali ke Lombok, tapi semuanya mahal-mahal, lebih dari Rp. 300.000,oo satu orang >> Lombok deket banget sama Bali, paling cuma 15 menit naik pesawat, dan harganya sgitu?? NGGAK MAU YAAA!!! Hmm, sekarang aku menyadari kalo Garuda mungkin memang maskapai yang paling bagus di Indonesia setelah datang ke 3 kantor dari 3 maskapai penerbangan. Merpati adalah yang paling jelek, komputernya tadi rusak >> konyol banget!!! Habis itu kita makan siang/sore di Avenue-A Pizza.
