"Exciting" Sunday

ENGLISH

Today is Christmas Day!! So, of course, I went to the church this morning. I went earlier because I knew that the church would be full of people (yea, most people here go to the church just once a year, yupz, only at Christmas Day (and I used to be like that too)). Just like our prediction, the church was full and very crowded. Some policemen built like a camp outside the church (they built it exactly at the place where I usually park my car, so I had to park somewhere else...) to keep it safe (there was a rumor that there would be a 'mess' during the Christmas Day and New Year Day). Fortunately, the mass liturgy went smoothly with no disturbment.

Then, this afternoon at 1.30 PM we (my family) and some other families went to Solo. Well, frist we went to Suharti Restaurant to have lunch (actually at that time I had already had lunch at 1 PM, so I was full at that time and I just played my cellphone and watched others eating when we were there....). At 3 PM, finally, we left for Solo. Until Klaten, the weather was okay. BUT, after that, there was a very very big and hard rain (I couldn't see anything in front of me, probably I could only see 1,5 - 2 meters in front of me). So, I drove very very slow. Jogjakarta - Solo road's (not a highway) condition is very good but we still had to walk so slow... . Then, after we reached Delanggu, the rain was not as hard as before. It was a lot better... . We arrived at Solo at 4.20 PM and we went to Solo Square first (my parents are gonna open a new shop there :D) until 5.10 PM. Then after that we went to Solo Grand Mall. We left Solo Grand Mall at 6.10 PM then we went to the bowling centre to play bowling there... :D We played until 9 PM. Then, we had 'Liwet Rice' as our dinner at Solo Baru. At 10 PM we went back to Jogja.... . On the way home, it was not raining but there was still some puddles near the road. Once, I didn't see one of them (because it was very very dark) and of course the water splashed to my car and I couldn't see anything clearly, unfortunately about 8 meters from it, there was a man in a bike (he was not moving, I don't know what the hell he did (and also thought) there) and I ALMOST hit him!!! Fortunately I could react quickly so I could avoid the accident.... . Thanks God!!

Jadi aku nyetirnya pelan pelan banget. Jalan Raya Jogjakarta - Solo (bukan jalan tol) kondisinya tuh sangat bagus tapi kita masih harus jalan dengan pelan... . Trus, habis sampe Delanggu, hujannya dah nggak sederes sebelumnya. Dah jauh lebih baik.... . . Makasih Tuhan!!!
