#297 - The Amazing Race All-Stars

Well, since the season was premiered last week, and I haven't written anything about it, I think I want to write a lil' about it right now... :) Well, I'm not gonna write about the rules since I think there is no big difference in rules compared to all previous seasons, but I am just gonna write about my thought about some of the contestants which are interesting for me... :)

Rob&Amber (season 7) - newlyweds

Well, they are, by mile, the most competitive and strong team amongst all 11 teams of this season of the race. Their strategies were just so smart and interesting to watch... :) Well, I wish Colin and Christie, team who still hold the record of the most who arrived at the mat first (6 times during the entire race of season 5), were there... :) O yea, they were the contestants of the reality show SURVIVOR...

Charla&Mirna (season 5) - cousins

They were a lovable team. Well, we can't deny that Charla is a, no offense, dwarf and because of that many people would underestimate her and think she is not capable of doing anything. But her spirit is just so 'moving'. I hope they did well on the race...

Dustin&Kandice (season 10) - Beauty Queens

These beauty queens were the most competitive all-female team amongst all female-teams from season 1 till 10. They did pretty well on season 10, and almost made it to the final three... :) Their strategies were very smart and sneaky.... :) It's interesting to watch them on the show

David&Mary (season 10) - Coalminer&Wife

This team who was a member of sixpack (along with Lyn&Karlyn and The Chos brothers) from season 10, were not a strong team for me. However, they were really a nice and down-to-earth people. It's interesting for me to watch them with their personalities in this race.

Uchenna&Joyce (season 7) - Married

They were the winner of season 7. On season 7, Joyce even sacrificed her hair to complete the "Fast-Forward" Task, wow, whatta will to win!! And they won!! Hmm, it's nice to see them back competing with Rob&Amber one more time...

Eric&Danielle (season 9) - Dating

This is a unique couple. They were the only team who were NOT on the same team during the season 9 (Eric was with Jeremy and Danielle was with Dani). Well, the combination is just interesting to watch...

Hmmm, let's just enjoy the race. So far, all 6 teams I wrote above were still on the race (top 9).

Btw, last night I watched the new week of American Idol with the boys performing. Hmm, I think they boys did a lot better than last week. Two contestants were weak, they were Sanjaya Malakar and Brandon Rogers. Some were pretty great: Chris Richardson and Blake Lewis. Sundance was a lot far better than last week... :) Hmm, I can't wait to see the girls' performances this evening... :)

BAHASA INDONESIA

Hmm, karena musim kali ini sudah mulai ditayangkan perdana minggu lalu dan aku blom nulis apa-apa tentangnya, jadi ya kayanya skarang aku pingin nulis tentang ini deh... :) Hmm, aku nggak akan menulis tentang peraturannya soale aku kira ga akan ada perbedaan yang besar dalam hal peraturan dengan musim-musim sebelumnya, tapi aku cuma akan menulis pemikiranku tentang beberapa kontestan yang aku rasa menarik... :)

Rob&Amber (musim 7) - pengantin baru

Hmm, mereka adalah, sejauh ini, tim yang paling kompetitif dan kuat deh dari semua 11 tim dalam musim ini. Strategi mereka tuh bener-bener pintar dan menarik untuk ditonton... :) Hmm, aku harap sih Colin & Christie, tim yang masih memegang rekor terbanyak untuk sampai di pitstop (6 kali dari keseluruhan pertandingan di musim 5), ada disana... :) Oya, mereka ini dulu kontestan dalam reality show SURVIVOR loh...

Charla&Mirna (musim 5) - sepupu

Mereka adalah tim yang pantas disukai. Hmm, nggak bisa kita tolak bahwa Charla adalah, tanpa maksud apa-apa, cebol dan karenanya orang akan meremehkan dia dan berpikir dia nggak bisa apa-apa. Tapi semangatnya benar-benar 'menggerakkan' loh. Aku harap sih mereka melakukannya dengan baik dalam pertandingan kali ini.

Dustin&Kandice (musim 10) - kontestan Ratu Kecantikan

Kontestan Ratu Kecantikan ini adalah tim semua-wanita yang paling kompetitif dari kesemua tim semua-wanita dari musim 1 sampai musim 10. Mereka lumayan bagus di musim ke 10, dan hampir aja masuk ke 3 besar... :) Strategi mereka benar-benar pintar dan licik.... :) Menarik kan liat mereka dalam show kali ini

David&Mary (musim 10) - Penambang Batu Bara dan Istri

Tim ini adalah anggota dari Sixpack (bersama dengan Lyn&Karlyn dan Cho bersaudara) dari musim 10, bukanlah sebuah tim yang kuat untuk aku. Namun, mereka adalah orang yang sangat baik dan rendah hati. Menarik untuk aku untuk melihat mereka dengan karakternya dalam pertandingan kali ini

Uchenna&Joyce (musim 7) - Menikah

Mereka adalah pemenang musim 7. Dalam musim 7, Joyce bahkan rela untuk mengorbankan rambutnya demi memenangkan tugas "Fast-Forward", wow, bener-bener semangat untuk menang!! Dan mereka menang!! Hmm, seru aja ngeliat mereka balik lagi dan bertanding dengan Rob&Amber sekali lagi...

Eric&Danielle (musim 9) - Pacaran

Ini adalah pasangan yang unik. Mereka adalah satu-satunya tim yang NGGAK berada dalam tim yang sama di musim 9 (Eric bersama Jeremy dan Danielle bersama Dani). Hmm, kombinasi ini kan menarik tuh untuk ditonton...

Hmmm, mari kita nikmati pertandingannya. Sejauh ini, semua 6 tim yang aku tulis di atas masuh ada di dalam pertandingan loh (9 besar).

Btw, semalam aku nonton minggu baru dari American Idol dengan penampilan dari kontestan laki-laki. Menurutku, mereka jauh lebih baik daripada minggu lalu. Dua kontestan menurutku lemah, yaitu Sanjaya Malakar dan Brandon Rogers. Beberapa lumayan bagus banget: Chris Richardson dan Blake Lewis. Sundance jauh lebih baik sekali daripada minggu lalu... :) Hmm, aku nggak sabar nih nonton penampilan tim perempuannya ntar malem... :)
