#316 - TAR All-Stars (2 legs at one)

This week, The Amazing Race 11 aired us a special 2 hrs episode. At first I thought twas one leg which would be aired an hour longer, but apparently, twas not one leg, but 2 legs!! (so it's 2 hrs). Why did they do that?? Well, I guess that was because after the first leg, the time difference was damn so long, even the first team started the next leg before the last two teams even checked-in at the pitstop!! A similar condition also occured between leg 6 and 7, but the legs were still "separated".

Leg 7

All teams left Zanzibar and headed for Warsaw, Poland. Dustin&Kandice were lucky by getting the fastest flight to Poland via Addis Ababa and Frankfurt. Uchenna&Joyce then got lucky by getting flight to Poland via Johanessburg and Frankfurt. Charla&Mirna and Oswald&Danny were a bit lucky by getting flight via Nairobi and Amsterdam. Eric&Danielle and Joe&Bill were unable to get any fastest flight and had no other choice than taking the last flight, via Kilimanjaro and Amsterdam. But in Kilimanjaro, they got a trouble (the flight to Kilimanjaro was late and they were unable to make the connection flight). After finishing all the tasks (only Detour, no Road-Block (actually there was one but not showed)), the final placing: Dustin&Kandice (1), Oswald and Danny (2), Uchenna and Joyce (3), Charla andMirna (4), Eric&Danielle (5), and Joe&Bill (6 >> NOT ELIMINATED but were marked for elimination).

Leg 8

The next leg, they had to go nowhere outside Poland. There was an Intersection where Oswald&Danny worked together with Uchenna&Joyce taking the Fast-Forward Task. Dustin&Kandice worked with Charla and Mirna, and Eric&Danielle worked together with Joe&Bill. After Detour and a Road-Block, the final placing: Uchenna&Joyce and Oswald&Danny (1), Dustin&Kandice (3), Charla and Mirna (4), Eric&Danielle (5), and Joe&Bill (6 >> ELIMINATED. Actually they came #5 but the 30 mins penalty kicked them out of the show).

Btw, according to the spoiler, next leg is gonnabe in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!!

Minggu ini, The Amazing Race 11 menayangkan episode spesial 2 jam. Pertama aku kira bakalan nayangin 1 babak tapi diperpanjang gitu penayangannya, tapi ternyata, bukan 1 babak tapi 2 babak!! (makanya jadi 2 jam). Kenapa bgitu?? Mungkin ya karena habis babak pertama, perbedaan waktunya jauuh bgt, bahkan tim pertama memulai babak berikutnya sebelum 2 tim terakhir check-in di pitstop!! Kondisi yang mirip jg terjadi diantara babak 6 dan 7, tapi masih "dipisahkan" tu.

Babak 7

Semua tim meninggalkan Zanzibar dan pergi ke Warsawa, Polandia. Dustin&Kandice beruntung dengan mendapatkan penerbangan tercepat ke Polandia bia Addis Ababa dan Frankfurt. Uchenna&Joyce juga beruntung dapet penerbangan ke Polandia via Johannesburg dan Frankfurt. Charla&Mirna dan Oswald&Danny lumayan beruntung dengan mendapatkan pesawat via Nairobi dan Amsterdam. Eric&Danielle dan Joe&Bill nggak dapat penerbangan lebih cepet dan nggak ada pilihan lain selain menaiki penerbangan terakhir via Kilimanjaro dan Amsterdam. Tapi di Kilimanjaro, ada masalah (penerbangan ke Kilimanjaronya telat, makanya mereka gabisa naik penerbangan lanjutannya). Habis menyelesaikan semua tugas (cuma Detour, ga ada Road-Block (sebenere si ada, tapi ga ditayangin tu)), posisi akhirnya: Dustin&Kandice (1), Oswald and Danny (2), Uchenna and Joyce (3), Charla and Mirna (4), Eric&Danielle (5), dan Joe&Bill (6 >> NGGAK TERELIMINASI tapi terancam eliminasi).

Babak 8

Babak berikutnya, mereka ga keluar dari Polandia. Ada Intersection dimana Oswald&Danny kerjasama dengan Uchenna&Joyce ngambil Fast-Forward. Dustin&Kandice kerjasama sama Charla&Mirna, dan Eric&Danielle kerjasama sama Joe&Bill. Habis tugas Detour dan Road-Block, urutan terakhirnya: Uchenna&Joyce dan Oswald&Danny (1), Dustin&Kandice (3), Charla and Mirna (4), Eric&Danielle (5), dan Joe&Bill (6 >> TERELIMINASI. Sebenere mereka sampe nomer 5, tapi penalti waktu mengeluarkan mereka dari pertandingan).

Btw, berdasar bocoran, babak berikutnya bakalan di Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia loh.
